Christian Intervention Global was born from the journey of Lighthouse Global—a community that discovered the hard way that when you turn from darkness to light, from the kingdom of this world to the Kingdom of God, the forces of darkness do not simply let you go.
Our story is one of transformation, persecution, and ultimately, love that intervenes in Christ.
The Beginning: Searching for Truth in Self-Help
In 2004, Paul S. Waugh launched what would become Lighthouse Global
(originally Franklin Waugh) with a burning question: Why is so much human potential unrealised?
After 20 years of working in the personal development and self-help industry, Paul had seen a troubling pattern. Books promised transformation. Seminars sold breakthroughs. Programs guaranteed success. Yet the results rarely matched the promises. People would read, attend, get excited—and then return to the same struggles, the same limitations, the same unrealised potential.
Something fundamental was missing.
So Lighthouse began as a research community—a 21-year intensive study to discover the real barriers to human potential and find genuine solutions.
The Search: Through New Age Thinking
In the early years, like many seekers of truth, we explored what the world offered. Self-actualization philosophies. Human potential movements. New age spirituality. Meditation practices. The promise that you can become your own lighthouse—that the divine is within, that you are enough, that the universe will align with your intentions.
We genuinely believed we were helping people. We spoke of restoring human beings to their glory, of peeling back layers, of reconnecting with the depths of being.
But something was still missing. The foundation was not there.
No amount of technique, no optimization of mindset, no vision board or positive affirmation could address the root problem: separation from God. Sin. The brokenness that no self-help program can heal because it requires not self- improvement, but death and resurrection in Christ.
The Turn: Coming to Christ
Through 21 years of research with thousands of people, a truth kept emerging that we could no longer ignore: we are not merely broken or wounded—we are dead to God, dead to righteousness, dead to truth.
John MacArthur’s words became undeniable to us: “Conversion doesn’t just add Jesus to our old life; it requires a complete death and resurrection to an entirely new way of seeing reality.”
Lighthouse Global became a journey that ultimately led us individually and collectively to Christ.
The Sum of All Problems: Paul’s Central Realization
Through this 20-year journey, Paul S. Waugh made a profound discovery—one that would become the foundation of his forthcoming book, The Sum of All Problems

But what is the root of all these problems? Paul discovered that all human problems—personal, interpersonal, systemic, global—originate from one source: separation from reality.
And what is reality? God is the ultimate reality.
When we separate from God, we trigger a cascade of separations:
- Separation from truth We can no longer distinguish what is real from what we wish were true
- Separation from principle We violate the unchanging laws that govern reality and wonder why we suffer consequences
- Separation from virtues and values We lose the very character of God that defines human excellence
This wasn’t theoretical philosophy. This was the pattern Paul observed across thousands of lives, including his own.
The Sum of All Problems outlines:
- Primary Problems (Inside In) Separation, sin, low connection with self, resistance to reality, ignorance of God’s principles
- Secondary Problems (Inside Out) Indiscipline, inadequate vision, knowledge-skill-action deficits, weak belief systems
- Outside In Problems Persecution, slander, lies, destructive criticism from the Kingdom of Darkness
- Outside Out Problems Fear of the unknown, losing control, neurosis, resource scarcity, learned helplessness
- Solutions The Problem-Problem Paradigm P3, reconnection to God as ultimate reality, Kingdom success
We discovered that:
- The problem wasn’t just missing knowledge, skills, or action—it was separation from God
- The solution wasn’t self-actualization—it was salvation (reconnection to God)
- The power wasn’t within us—it was in Christ alone
- We didn’t need to become lighthouses by our own power—we needed to reflect the One True Light
- Mastering problems meant reconnecting to the Ultimate Reality: God Himself
This was not a gentle evolution. It was a complete reset of everything we thought we knew about success, value, and human potential.

The Cost: Extreme Attacks from the Kingdom of Darkness
The moment we turned to Christ, the attacks began in earnest.
What we experienced—and continue to experience—is what Scripture warns about: “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness.” Ephesians 6:12
The Media Onslaught
The BBC, through pseudo journalist Catrin Nye, produced what we can only describe as a coordinated propaganda hit piece—A Very British Cult—designed to destroy our reputation, our work, and our lives.
They refused to examine our evidence. They refused to interview those we had helped escape from abusive families. They refused to acknowledge documented cases of severe abuse that we had protected people from. Instead, they platformed our false accusers—many of them the very abusive family members whose control we had helped people escape.
Weaponized Government Agencies
The UK Insolvency Service was deployed against us with sweeping powers and no due process.Action Fraud investigated and found no fraud—yet the smear continued.
When three of our brothers peacefully went to Catrin Nye’s home as citizen journalists—bringing a signed Bible and a letter demanding justice, compensation and reform—they were arrested and charged with harassment.
The Real Threat: An Empowered, Informed Christian Community
Why the ferocity of these attacks?
Because a small Christian community committed to truth, human development, and exposing systemic corruption represents everything the Kingdom of Darkness fears: accurately informed citizens who cannot be controlled, manipulated, or silenced.1116
As Mike Cowan of the BBC put it, we are a “Group of Concern.” Translation: we threaten their narrative control.
Our Response: Love Intervenes
We could have given up. We could have gone silent. We could have abandoned our calling.
Instead, love intervened—following the example of Christ, the Ultimate Interventionist.
We realized that if we, a small community with the truth and all the evidence, had nowhere to turn for help, then countless other citizens face the same tyranny.
So Christian Intervention Global was born—not just to defend ourselves, but to provide intervention, protection, and justice for all citizens facing persecution for political, religious, social, or economic reasons.
We exist because:
- Christ intervened for us when we were lost
- Scripture commands us to intervene for others
- The vulnerable need defenders, the silenced need voices, and the oppressed need rescue
Our Mission Today
Christian Intervention Global continues the work that Lighthouse began—but now grounded fully in Christ, operating as Christians in both the Body of Christ and the secular world.
We:
- Defend those under attack from media persecution and weaponized institutions
- Document and publish truth when systems try to silence it
- Build citizen-led alternatives to corrupt establishment structures
- Train Christian Intervention Journalists to report with integrity and evidence
- Pursue justice through legal action, including class actions against the BBC and private prosecutions where needed.
We operate on a simple principle Paul S. Waugh articulated: “Citizen character is realized by how much truth we can tolerate.”
